He and his group were first to establish large scale newborn screening in Australia and to discover human biofilm  and intracellular bacteria in the middle ear.
His passion remains treatment and research into otitis media in Aboriginal children for which he was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia.

She did multiple experiences at Children’s Hospital in Europe and USA. She completed her training with a Pediatric Fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. She published more than 20 scientific papers on international journals and attended multiple international conference and course as invited speaker and teaching professor.

Dr. Valdez, Tulio (USA)
Dr. Tulio A Valdez is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Stanford University. Clinically, Dr. Valdez has an interest in airway surgery and swallowing disorders. Dr. Valdez has co-authored one textbook and numerous book chapters and scientific manuscripts. Dr. Valdez continues his clinical research in these areas, particularly with a focus on aerodigestive disorders. Scientifically, Dr. Valdez has developed various imaging methods to diagnose otitis media and cholesteatoma. He has developed surgical simulator models of various pediatric otolaryngological conditions with a special focus in pediatric airway. Dr. Valdez believes in the multi-disciplinary collaborations to tackle medical problems and has co-invented various medical devices and surgical simulation models
